Winter Activities for Family Prepping
The SHTF can happen at any time! No waiting for the opportune season or timing.
Each season has its own challenges and benefits. Many folks use camping in the summer, gardening in the spring, canning and hunting in the fall, etc.. for teachable activities for their children. Winter might seem like the time for hunkering down in a nice warm location and waiting out the cold. But in a real survival scenario that warm place won’t be warm unless you make it so. Use the challenges of winter survival as another teachable time for the entire family.
