What to Store in Your Faraday
Almost everyone reading this is aware that a faraday cage is intended to protect your electronic devices from electrical pulses aka an EMP. However, there are great differences of opinions and ideas of just what items should be stored in this protective case. Truthfully this does and should vary with each individual group.
Even if you are alone for instance a handheld radio could be useful in locating other survivors or help. If you are in an area where the nearest person is way out of range for a handheld, then a HAM might be a better choice for the limited space available in your faraday. If you are inspired or calmed by music or have a group member who is disabled and soothed by music, then a loaded MP3 player may be a must have for you but to another group or individual this would be a gross waste of space.
Featured below are two lists of items recommended for storage in your faraday by two different sites. They both recommend some similar items and in other areas are completely different. Take a look at both and see which items may apply to your list of necessities or extras that would be nice if you have the space that you hadn’t yet thought of.
