Using Sulfa as a Survival Antibiotic
It used to be a question asked a lot on all the preparedness sites ” What do we do about antibiotics for the injured and sick when there may not be legitimate medical resources?” Then we learned that fish antibiotics which can be purchased without a prescription are very similar to those prescribed for humans. Not to be used lightly and never when a medical professional is available, they are a survival antibiotic only.
Just because they are available without prescription doesn’t mean they aren’t a real medication or harmless! We are humans not fish. Different antibiotics are used by doctors to treat different infections. People are also each unique and many of us (including myself) react differently to different formulas. Antibiotic allergic reactions can be from a mild rash to death. Sulfa based medications are among the worst for those that suffer from those allergies.
You also need be mindful that all infections are not created equal. A different formula is required for their variances. Learn when and on what to use sulfa from a real doctor geared to the survival community by continuing at the featured link below from Doom and Bloom
