The disadvantages of being caught or trapped in a snowstorm are relatively obvious! I grow up in the northern portion of the Midwest so I have seen a lot of snow! I have actually had to climb out a window in order to exit my home because the snow was so deep it buried the first floor windows and blocked the doors.
