Urban Survival Considerations

What usually comes to mind when we talk about urban survival is people. Lots and lots of people. How to avoid being caught up in the mob or avoiding them is what tends to be the first conversation point. No one wants to come to the attention of a panicked crowd or a desperate group of any sort.

But there are other differences for the city prepper vs the rural one. Survival plans have to be adjusted for our location at the time the SHTF. Especially if your plan is to bug in or hunker down. Even when that decision is intended to be a temporary one.
