Urban Mental Survival Skills for Kids

Just because the title of the article featured refers to “urban” doesn’t mean these lessons should be taught to city kids only! We want our children to grow up and be able to make it in any environment that their path takes them to. Even if your raising your children on a farm in a very rural area they will need these skills as an adult never mind if they are in a chaotic survival environment.

I wanted my own children to be able to spread their wings and become and be whom ever they wanted to be. I also wanted them to be safe, both physically and mentally. None of us are getting out of this world alive in the long run. Our children need to be able to depend upon us to teach them now what they need to make it without us later.
