Transform Logs and Stumps to Planters
I love the quaint rustic look of these planters. I also rather see them as double duty! I would grow veggies or another edible landscape plant and then after harvest when they would no longer looks so charming, chop the log and use it as heat for the colder season. Except for the stump. I hate stumps! First they are not attractive as they sit and they are buggers to get out if you try to pull them and if you use stump remover it can take not only a ton of time but money. Using them as a planter is a neat way to indicate new life from a dead tree.
