The featured article by guest author Emily Harper for the Prepper Journal speaks to the world’s dwindling food supply in relation to the growing population and the hard hitting climate changes threating that limited supply. Written in 2014 it is as applicable today as it was then, in some ways, perhaps even more so.
Whether you consider it doomsday or a temporary situation the fact remains that mother nature does not discriminate and serious storms can hit anywhere. How much you have in your bank account becomes less important than what you have in your pantry in a SHTF scenario that effects the production, distribution, and availability of food. Your ability to become self supporting will frankly depend upon your current stores holding out until you can replant, game returns to the area, fishing becomes safe again, etc..
