One topic that comes up over and over in prepping circles is surviving any kind of disaster manmade or natural when living in the city. There just is no way to say that it is as likely to survive in the city as it is in the country. It just isn’t true. The more people the more damage end of story. So why stay there? Because for many retirement is years away and their jobs are in the city. For others it is simply their home and they have as much right to stay where they love and near those who are dear to them as do dwellers in any other environment.
