Testing Seed Viability
I can so relate to the frustration expressed by the author of the featured article’s experience with her beans! Knowing in advance the viability of a package or group of home saved seeds can save you frustration and money. If you as did the author, plant a bunch of seed and then don’t receive the reasonably expected harvest then you have wasted your time, water, seed money and end up spending additional funds to purchase the missing produce for your food plan. After reading how easy it is to get a reasonable idea of how many of my seeds are likely to take and produce, I will never again just guess and hope because I will know to plant more or less based on the results.
