Survive Stranded in the Snow
The unusual weather patterns of some previous years woke a large portion of the American public up to the dangers of unexpected low temperatures. In those areas unaccustomed to ice and snow the sudden change in the weather brought chaos. Fortunately none of the reported deaths that year were a direct result of the dropping temperature.
However, should there be another rare or unpredictable forecast that could easily change. Especially if that weather is in conjunction with another crisis event where people are not just dealing with the snow and ice but shelter and warmth issues as well.
