Storage for Emergency Supplies
I will start off by saying I understand the need for additional storage for apartment dwellers especially those who are also preppers.
But I don’t recommend a rental unit personally. If you happen to live within a block or so of the rental facility perhaps if you’re in a really small apartment…. but under those circumstances you would probably already have a unit for your excess personal property already. My concern is the ability to get to your supplies and back again safely after a SHTF event when you might be better off staying in your bug in or bug out location.
Having everything you need to stay put where you are safe means a lot to me. However, if you feel that it is safer for you to store some things between your home location and your bug out location, or if you feel you can safely both get to and from the unit safely and can afford the extra space, then the tips included in the featured article are good ones to remember before you rent!
