Six Part Survival System
ÖKO Odyssey™
I unashamedly admit I am an equipment junkie! I love all the new prepping gear that is beginning to hit the market. I feel it’s about time! It is an indicator that preparedness is becoming more mainstream. More venders are wanting into the growing market and that is only good for us! It keeps competition high and prices lower. It also gives all of us more choices both in what we want and what we are willing/able to pay for the equipment.
Clean water has always been a very important factor to surviving. Now as there are more and more water crisises in western countries like the United States there are more people concerned about having drinkable portable water. Many of us carry a water bottle anyway.
What is neat about this particular water filter bottle and that makes it a cut above the rest is that it has 2 levels of filtration. One that is for everyday use and gives you the bottled water or Brita carbon filter protection and taste for ordinary safe tap water. Then an additional filter is intended for water that could be contaminated by bacteria, cysts and other contaminants. This serves the same purpose as does a life straw. Then to make it a survival system this vender has added parts so that you can store for carrying, filter at either level, use it as a flash lite, a camp lantern and an emergency strobe system.

The retailer can provide you with additional filters and other add ons.
It’s at the top of my wish list of gear!
