SHTF Protein Sources
There are folks who get upset when survival sites post how to catch, butcher, a cook meat, particularly when it involves animals that aren’t normally what you can buy in the grocery store. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings on eating meat and should follow through on their preference as long as they remain healthy. There are people that feel that those that don’t eat meat will have an advantage on sustainable food choices after or during a SHTF as fruit and vegetables are items that can be grown and re-grown sustaining a food source. However, there are protein sources currently available to vegetarians and vegans that allow their diets to be healthy that may not be readily available to them during or after a long-term crisis.
