Prepping Your Bug Out Location as a Geographical Battlespace

It really doesn’t matter if it is your bug out location or your bug in location. You will want to do the very best you can at protecting that space. Your life depends upon it. As normal people we often don’t think of these spaces as battlespace.

But in fact on a daily basis it truly is. We lock our doors and windows, we light up our front porches and back gates to prevent unwanted uninvited persons from making an easy mark of our home…. our battlespace. In today’s world we not only have a home advantage but we have a cavalry of sorts to back us up as quickly as they can arrive after your urgent call to law enforcement.

But in a world gone mad and turned upside down by some catastrophic event, there won’t be any back up to call upon and the bad guys have no prison sentence or legal ramifications to fear. To offset that, we then must see our location at the time as a battlespace and use that as our advantage. Using force multipliers and other tactics to protect our safe havens.
