Prepping is Only a Band-Aid
If you injure yourself a Band-Aid is an important part of your first aid kit. In a minor injury it may be all you require to stop the bleeding and begin the healing process. In a few days you rip it off and go on with your life no worse for the wear. But if your injury is more severe a band aid won’t do it. You may need medicine, a cast, surgery, or at the very lest a bigger bandage all things found in a hospital.
Prepping can be viewed in a similar way, your preps being the bandage and self sufficiency the hospital. To see the authors view on prepping as simply a Band-Aid for a minor incident and what he feels is necessary for a major event continue at the link below.
