Preparing for Human Disaster Violence

One thing that all preppers, new, experienced, young, old, urban and rural talk about and prepare for is the possibility of experiencing violence from outsiders during or after a SHTF event. There are a number of blogs and articles devoted to self defense tactics. Lethal and non-lethal weapons and even passive protection like booby traps and camp sentries. We have concerns about the unprepared and desperate, the prepped who lost their preps and/or safe haven, and worst of all the marauder whose preparations are to take yours and are not only willing to be but almost seem gleeful at the idea of causing you and your family/group harm in the process.
However, there is yet another perpetrator we should be thinking about. He or she is already here. Inside our group or a member of our own family. A disaster of any proportion brings this predator out. He/she may have already reared the ugly side of themselves in daily life but far more will be exposed during a time of stress and lawlessness.
