15 Preparedness Uses for Kiddie Pools

Most of us already have one of these around for our children, pets or grandkids. But if you don’t fall is the time of year to look for them on sale. I have seen many of them over the years during the hot summer months occupied by a lone adult trying to cool themselves off during a heat wave so you won’t look to out of place if you decide to purchase one and don’t have kiddies to go in it! My first thought when faced with a water crisis has always been like everyone else to fill every viable container within reach for a variety of uses until the plumbing issue or water crisis has been resolved. I admit they are one of the first things dragged out during a heat wave especially for my pets comfort (my children are all 18+ and grandchildren live some distance away) but that it hadn’t occurred to me to pull it out when storing water in what I deemed to be a rather short term water shortage! But, when asked what I would use a kiddie pool for in prepping, that would be my first and perhaps only answer!
