Opening Our Ports to Terror?

We have become aware of the lengths that those that wish to cause us harm and alter our ability to enjoy and live our lives as we wish via terror will go to. We have seen them weaponize cars, trucks, airplanes, and other items and locations that we always felt safe in and with. Now we look at these locations and items with a completely different eye.
Many Americans are looking to our leasing of ports to foreign companies and governments as a threat that we seem to ignore or be oblivious to. I have to give credit to the men and women who protect our country as they have prevented untold numbers of outrageous attempts to attack us on our own soil. But I must ask are we making that harder for them to do when we outsource our ports?
