Vegetables to Plant Mid-Summer
Spring is a busy time for everyone and not everyone had the time and energy this spring to get their garden started. In that position most people think, “oh well, next year” but nope! You don’t have to wait until next year! The good news is that there are summer vegetables and herbs you can plant in mid-summer. You can still have that garden and still enjoy your fall harvest.
Many of the cold-tolerant vegetables actually have better quality when grown in cool weather; it’s said that the frost “sweetens” them.
