Low Income Prepping
Some of the people who are the best prepared for disaster are those with limited funds. Larger budgets and deeper pockets may mean you are able to purchase more in advance, have a nicer generator, maybe even nifty rows of awesome solar panels. But there are some things that those that struggle to make ends meet know that those folks don’t.
Those with low incomes know how to creatively meet the needs of themselves and their families without the extra funding. How to do for themselves and make do with less. If their is a long term SHTF event I put my bet on those low income survivors to outlast the supplies stocked by their wealthier neighbors and end up in a better emotional and even physical situation over the long run. Those reliant on government programs or big business for their survival will be the ones left behind.
