Survival sites talk a lot about bugging out in a crisis. But from my own research, I have found that the majority of us at least hope to be able to hunker down and ride it out on our property in our own communities. Either way safe water will be our biggest issue, after the air we breath, water is the most important element to staying alive. Without water everything eventually dies.

When the water stops flowing from our faucets, water will become harder and harder to secure. There are several aspects to water that you should consider if your long term plans are to stay put in  your current location. Even more so if you must bug out or move to a secondary pre-planned location.
