Lanterns Made From Inexpensive or Recycled Frames
This is a neat little project that truthfully if you already have the materials could be free for you! Making lanterns may sound fun to crafters, but it could also be a practical project for preppers.
When you have a power outage or an outdoor function candles are the usual first choice for lighting. However candles melt, tip and are tempting to children as well as easy knocked over by pets. Having them inside a lantern makes them sturdier and less messy to clean up later.
The particular ones made by Rob and Courtney were made from dollar store frames. Maybe like myself you have a bunch of old frames that you aren’t using for their intended purpose any longer. This is a project is a much better use of them rather than sitting in a box in my storage shed! Frames are also obtained easily and inexpensively at thrift stores and garage sales.
