Is Your BOB Too Big?

If you are anything like me, your bug out bag aka BOB has a life of its own and continues to grow. I am always going to add just one more item just in case.

I have come to realize as I age what I think I will need in a crisis has grown and what I can actually carry has decreased. Because of my particular situation, I have decided that bugging in is the best option for myself and my family. However, we all know what happens with the best laid plans and that if it can go wrong, it will.

Having a backup plan is imperative to everyone whether they plan to bug in or out. So, among my preps is a game carrier which will allow me to pull my big ole BOB along behind me as long as I can before I have to make the life-or-death choices of what to continue to carry once the carrier can’t go with me any further.
