How to Keep Spiders Away

I despise spiders. Yes, I do know they are supposedly more afraid of me then I am of them. But I don’t buy it! . I’ve seen some horrible damage done to others by bites and just the idea of them crawling across my skin makes my skin creep. I was always looking for a method of keeping them away and tried a bunch of them. The worst and most expensive method was an electronic thing you plug it in to the outlet and it’s supposed to emit a high pitch sound that isn’t heard by nor disturbing to humans but keep the spiders away, I threw them away when I found a spider actually crawling across the device while it was plugged in! Now I stick to more natural methods.
