This easy DIY lawnmower to a generator is easy and could power your home in an emergency

I saw this and had to share this awesome idea. If we find ourselves  in a SHTF/survival situation and the grid goes down we could make this relatively easily.This type of homemade generator will be more powerful and cheaper to make than solar or wind power.

Depending on what size lawnmower engine you start with you could get as much as 500 watts. This could be extremely helpful if SHTF or power fails over the winter months. See instructions at the titled links below
