For years the title “Cheapskate” has had negative connotations. The tightwad with the calculator determining down to the last fraction of a cent each of his dinner companions owe as you split the check, the date we all have had on the two for one coupon, or the friend who insists on only having lunch where the drink refills are free!
When in fact there are many cheapskates hiding unnoticed right in front our noses. Like the parents who just paid their child’s final college tuition payment or the single parent who manages to feed their children well everyday and still pay daycare on time.
