Why would this be of interest to homesteaders or preppers? Because most of us are not off grid completely. We use credit cards, we have bank accounts and we have visited doctors or been hospitalized some time in our lives. Protecting our personal information from hackers is as important to us as to any other portion of society! :Perhaps even more so as we realize more than do some others that someone using our identity could lead to a whole lot of issues that we don’t want. Preppers are already in some areas being touted as possible terrorists, conspiracy theorists or doomsday nuts but really we just don’t want to draw attention to ourselves and prepare for whatever comes our way.
