Golden Rules for Using Cast Iron Cookware
Cast Iron used to be the only good choice for cookware and is still preferred for those who cook over an open flame. It was around long before the non-stick cookware or copper bottom cookware that has become so popular these days and I believe it will be around long after those alternatives have gone their way. The cast iron skillets and Dutch oven I own today was once used by my grandmother and I believe it will be used by some of my children long after I am gone. Now that is real durability!
Just like other cookware cast iron has its own need for specific care and use. See the golden rules that will keep your cookware looking and working as well as the day your grandmother got her first set years ago at the featured link below
