Getting Out Of Dodge
Many folks plan their bug out gear and location to the tiniest detail but forget about the actual getting there part! The photo above pictures the roadways out of Houston just prior to hurricane Rita. A good bug out plan aka getting out of dodge plan includes preparations for the possibilities of running into this type of situation and perhaps some preplanning to avoid just this mess.
We’ve seen this again with hurricane Harvey again this year in Texas. People need to be ready even if they are not in the direct path as we are seeing again, and again with every hurricane. Getting out of dodge is an important part of those preparations.
