Why Your Gas Tank Should Always Be At Least Half Full
I have been a firm believer in always having at least a half a tank of gas at all times since I myself had an experience quite similar to the author’s and ran out of gas at an inopportune time and location. But that isn’t the only reason I agree with the articles advice,
In addition to the article’s #3, I have more personal reasons that you might be able to relate to. I have an elderly parent, and a serious health condition myself. I live some distance away from my mother and should “God forbid” something happen to her. I want to be able to head to her side, wherever she might be, in her time of need without the delay of needing to stop for gas. Another personal reason is that It took an ambulance more than 20 minutes to arrive at my home after 9-1-1 was called. I may not have 20 minutes to wait next time. There are other drivers in my home or close by who could get me to the closest hospital in under 10 minutes. Not a good time to have to stop for gas!
You may have your own personal reasons similar to mine or uniquely your own and even if you don’t, the featured article linked below has some pretty good reasons you should consider!
