Former Military EDC
I am actually surprised to see how much the author of the featured article and I share in our EDC (every day carry). Perhaps it is our shared experience on military bases. He was active duty and I was a civilian working for S1. We have never met nor served in the same unit or locations to the best of my knowledge. However the similarities in our EDC are remarkable. So I do have the opportunity to carry a bit more than he does. I also do not have dog tags but do wear a medical alert necklace.
What I would add to his EDC which he may not have listed as he didn’t detail the contents of his wallet is cash and a credit card. You never know if you will need to barter or make a purchase perhaps even lodging in an emergency. If the emergency is personal the credit card can be priceless and if it is more wide spread… initially cash will be of value. These items are the same for both male and females.
