Accidents are called accidents for a reason. No one intends for them to happen. Yet every day someone dies an accidental death. Many of these are preventable while others come completely out of the blue. Being prepared and accepting that you could be the victim of a mistake of either your own or another’s can make the difference between your life or death. In this post we are talking about being trapped in a vehicle that is sinking. Whether it be flood waters or off the road either way, you are in trouble quick. Because myself and family do live near bodies of water and just outside a flood plane, I have made sure the tools needed to get them out of a sinking vehicle are located in each vehicle we drive and with the kids that they have with them a smaller version of that tool, so when they are with friends they still have a fighting chance of getting out alive.
