Effectively Navigating After Dark During a SHTF Scenario

As children we used to play a game of night tag. Without knowing it in some ways we were learning to navigate after dark without drawing attention to ourselves and attempting to be unseen by those searching for us. Now days it really isn’t safe in most places to allow children to run freely around town at night! But those skills learned from a childhood game (even if it gives away my age!) actually do apply to a much more serious scenarios. There can be a need to move around quietly and securely in the dark without alerting others to your presence during a personal or public SHTF situation.
