The E-Z Baby Saver
Especially as the tempatures rise the danger increases for children inadvertently left in vehicles by overburdened, overwhelmed and busy parents and care givers.
My children always fell asleep almost as soon as the vehicle began to move and it is not impossible that a harried parent running late with a number of other things on their minds could possibly simply forget the quiet baby is in the vehicle. Same goes for pet parents who are on the go too. One way of making sure that you and your child or pet are never in the horrible position of inadvertently leaving your child or pet in a dangerous situation is this little invention created by a 5th grader that immediately reminds you that you are not alone in the vehicle as you exit .It is a small simple home made reminder that could prevent tragedy.
There are also now electronic devices that can be purchased like a peel and stick chime to remind you that someone or something is still in your back seat which can be seen HERE. or an alarm to remind you that the car seat is in the back seat and alerts the parent when they have taken their keys 15-20 feet from the occupied baby seat, see that one HERE. These are most often gifted to first time parents and babysitting grandparents who aren’t accustom to having a child in the car.
Many feel if you are likely to forget your baby or pet in the vehicle, then you shouldn’t have a pet never mind a baby. But the fact remains like it or not, babies and pets are left to die every year in hot vehicles. No matter of the shouldn’t have factor. Better safe than sorry always!
