Even non-prepping folks make a grocery list. Just think of this as the grand-daddy of all grocery lists!

When I first began food storage I didn’t even realize I was “prepping”. I was attempting to  be frugal. I bought when on sale and in bulk then broke it down in more pantry friendly sized storage containers. My job at that time involved a lot of transfers and moving from place to place so longer term food storage wasn’t truthfully an option for my family.

However once we settled in a single location. I realized fairly quickly that I needed at least an inventory for my frugal shopping methods. Then after experiencing a couple of natural disasters in my own area during which I fed my family some rather odd combinations I realized I needed to be a lot more organized with my food storage! As with many projects they tend to grow! Now, I not only worry about having all the appropriate ingredients for the meals my family and I enjoy. I understand that I need to insure that I have enough of those ingredients and an appropriately nutritional variety for the long term.

I have seen lots of lists and suggestions on many sites but none that suited my preferences nor in the perfect amounts for my unique family! So I was taking a bit of this one and a bit of that one to make my own listing. Until I found this one!
