Everyone has heard of doomsday. Some preppers even prepare for it as a regular expected event.. So Just what is the doomsday clock?

It’s a clock face used as a timer or a count down to when humanity will destroy themselves. The closer the time comes to midnight the closer scientists are predicting TEOTWAWKI. It’s hands are moved forward or backward depending upon the interpretation of world events by a group of international scientists called the Chicago Atomic Scientists and it has been in place since 1947.

The Bulletin’s clock is not a gauge to register the ups and downs of the international power struggle; it is intended to reflect basic changes in the level of continuous danger in which mankind lives in the nuclear age.
