In the past we have had posts regarding what kind of dog makes the best watch dog. The best watch dog may not be the best breed however, for overall survival purposes. Different traits apply and a different set of skills are required.
These facts can vary by location and planned use of the dog. So it always sets off a debate among their owners. I am aware that my own dog doesn’t fit the idea most people have when it comes to a watch dog but he is awesome at his job. A survival dog? Not so much!
