I don’t know about your neighborhoods, but mine has become a haven for petty crimes in the last few years. I am guessing as we have one of the highest unemployment rates in our state that this is why. Now you wouldn’t think that plants and planters would be a big ticket item for thieves, but apparently they are! We have had at least 4 thefts of plants in their planters right out of fenced yards in just the past year. One actually off my own front stoop. So when I saw this planter I thought BINGO, y’all just try and pick this one up and run! That it is DIY is even better as heavy planters tend to cost more than the lighter ones.
