DIY Wickiup Shelter

Shelter is every preppers top priority after surviving the initial event. With the rule of 3 the body can only handle about 3 hours of inclement weather before it begins to die. Usually faster than even lack of drinking water.
It doesn’t matter if you find yourself in an urban or rural setting. There are some shelters that can be put together quickly and from natural materials. The wickiup is one of those shelters and offers great benefits to those who know how to build it.

It can take a few tries to get it right and you may want to use some of your time on camping trips etc… to become proficient. But if you need shelter during or after a crisis you will be grateful you took the time to learn this shelter design.
