DIY Path lighting
Here is an easy DIY path lighting project that can make a big statement at your next BBQ or summer party. You may already have all the pieces you need to make your own pathway lighting! You can use a plant stick as a pole or if you prefer recycle an old broom or rake handle. Add an adapter to attach the tin can to the stick of your choice, a couple of screws, a candle, a tuna or flaked chicken can, and if you want a more finished look a bit of old paint. And voila’ your pathway, patio, camp site, or garden is elegantly and safely lit. Be as creative or as conservative as you like.
The last 3 images are completed lights, one with the old hurricane shade, one with an old glass vase and the last with a simple clear drinking glass. One is sure to match your style and make your backyard or pathway as unique as you are!
