One of the things I recall most clearly about my grandparents farm is the outhouse! It is one of my least favorite memories too! I don’t recall them closing the old one and opening a new one, but I can’t imagine it would be a enjoyable task for anyone.
The idea of composting human waste is relatively new again to the western world. Empting a toilet will never be a fun job. But with this outhouse easy empty composting toilet project it can be made less unpleasant. Best of all the entire project is a do it yourself job.
