DIY Multipurpose Drawstring Paracord Bag

The project featured here was apparently Faiza007’s entry into a contest. I don’t know if he/she won that contest but the bag itself is a winner!

As our world becomes more earth conscious many of us are choosing not to use plastic bags as often anymore but to bring our own reusable bags. (I do recycle my plastic bags are home for other uses, but when I have a good stock of them… I use my reusable bag!) In some parts of the United States there is a fee charged with your purchases if you didn’t bring your own bag. I have seen that be as high as eight cents a bag. Over time that simply isn’t cost effective for your grocery bill nor the landfills where many end up after a single use.

Paracord itself has other survival and emergency uses so having a length on hand is always smart. Put the two together and you have an awesome bag that saves you money, keeps some plastic out of the landfills, looks neat, has a duel survival use, and in which you can take personal pride in  having made yourself!
