DIY Iceless portable camping evap air conditioner
This system reminds me a lot of the 5 gallon bucket air conditioner that was used to cool a tent. Only this one by Gray Wolf Survival is big enough to cool a room or a small RV. It uses a larger fan and more filter pad but remains portable and light weight.
It runs off 12 volts which is easily gotten from a car battery and easily kept charged with a smaller solar panel. Best of all, it’s a super simple DIY build that works even if you’re not in the desert!
