DIY Cook Top From a 55 Gallon Barrel

This project is just awesome! We have seen barbeques and wood stoves for heating made from barrels and now one with a cook top. I personally love it. If cooking off grid on a permanent basis for any length of time and I would desperately want a cook top. Grilling and barbequing are fun and the food is good but not everything is best cooked by those methods. Eventually I would, and I believe most other cooks if they are honest would miss the ease of using a stove. It all sounds fun and adventurous when just preplanning and talking about surviving in a post off grid world. But in fact, it would cease being fun fast when faced with it day to day added to just trying to stay alive, warm, fed, and safe. I believe creative projects like this will make all the difference for those who continue to not just survive but thrive.
