DIY Badass Bike Modifications
These bike modifications blow my mind! Many would be so helpful in today’s world if you live a lifestyle and in an area where riding a bike is practical and possible. I love the side car idea myself. I can see carrying groceries or the dry cleaning home in it or as intended allowing a toddler to ride beside you and enjoy the ride. I would have in my younger years taken both my older daughters with me, one in a child seat attached to the back of the bike and the older of the two in the side car! They would have adored it and we lived at that time in a country where bike travel was one of the most common modes of transportation.
However, the post SHTF uses for many of these modifications is endless. You can travel much faster than on foot, yet get around debris from the event. It is also quieter than would be an automobile or motorcycle would be if moving about stealthily is required. Add that it wouldn’t require gas or electricity to operated and you have a winner post SHTF asset!
