Deter Water or Bullets with Sand Bags

I happen to live in a flood prone area of the United States and have seen numerous sandbags over the years. I never gave much thought to them in all honesty. A sandbag is a sandbag was my thinking.

But that isn’t true! We all see the sandbags in flooded areas and on the news when they show military compounds in desert areas. This is because they are dual purpose. They can be used to stop or redirect the flow of unwanted water and they can do the same for bullets. In a major SHTF event both could become necessary. Natural disasters can change weather patterns and natural land and water formations as well as the attitude and human nature of the people around you.
