Defending your bug out location

You survived the event, you made it to your bug out location and now you must defend it! How do you do this when you are just a small group or family?  First priority is to prepare your battle space. Even if you don’t have the man power or the weaponry being prepared gives you an advantage over almost any size group whether the plan be avoidance or confrontation. Forewarned is indeed forearmed.
