All humans and even the ultra-responsible prepper want the magic tool, gizmo or key piece of information that will ensure that they and those they care about will survive any SHTF event that could possibly befall them.  However, Murphy’s law doesn’t stop applying because the world as we know it has been turned upside down. If it can go wrong most likely it will. Being creative will be your only saving grace in many situations.

You have done all the right things, planned for every scenario, have all the correct tools and the knowledge to use them. So as chances are you could be separated from your gear, from your group, your supplies and your preps. Now what? The most important tool of all comes into play, the one and only tool that will be with you until the bitter end…. your knowledge, your creativity and your adaptability! Your brain! It takes long term brain washing to make you “unlearn” something and to stifle the creativity and adaptability of the human mind. Thinking like a survivor will make you a survivor. In a pinch you will find your own creativity will come into play but until then train your brain to look outside the box.
