Creating a Safe Room

Most of us remember the Jodie Foster movie “Panic Room”. Now that was a safe room! What about the rest of us? Those of us who don’t have riches? Do we need a safe room? Yes, I think we do.
Not necessarily in the style of the panic room but somewhere that we can retreat to or have less able or prepared household members hide while waiting for help or until the danger has cleared. It doesn’t have to be and for the majority of us can’t be terribly expensive nor glamorous with all the bells and whistles.
